4x4 Active Matrix Mixer – 4U Modular Format
The 4x4 Active Matrix is a 4-input by 4-output active matrix mixer designed for the 4U modular / Loudest Warning (LW) format.
Inputs:
Channels 1 & 2 feature both 1/8” and banana jack inputs, each with a toggle switch for selecting between x1 and x2 gain.
Channels 3 & 4 include 1/8”, 1/4”, and banana jack inputs, along with toggle switches for x1 or x10 gain—ideal for interfacing line-level or guitar pedal signals with your modular system.
Each input has a dedicated input attenuator before it reaches the matrix mix section.
Mixing Matrix:
Each of the four outputs has its own summing node with a 3-way toggle switch per input, allowing you to route that input as On, Off, or Inverted to the output.
Outputs A, B, C, and D are gray banana jacks, while Output A features both a banana jack and a 1/4” output with its own output level attenuator.
Build & Availability:
Assembled modules are built to order and typically ship within 1–2 weeks, depending on part availability.

Serge Modular Ecosystem Compatibility
Modern Serge-style 4U systems use two primary mounting standards: Loudest Warning–style and Random*Source–style.
Low-gain Electronics modules follow the Loudest Warning–style mounting format (unless stated otherwise) and are electrically
compatible with all Serge-style systems, though mounting (panels) and power adapters may be required for some installations.
