The 8x8 Active Matrix Desktop Mixer is a fully active 8-input x 8-output matrix mixer designed in a compact 12” x 12” x 3” desktop format. Whether you're routing audio, CV, or other signals, this flexible unit gives you total control in a sleek aluminum enclosure.

Key Features:

Dual Format Inputs & Outputs:
Choose any 2 formats from 1/8” (3.5mm), 1/4” (6.35mm), Banana, or TiniJax jacks to match your studio or modular setup.
Per-Channel Pre-Amps with Gain Control:
Each of the 8 input channels features a built-in preamp offering up to 2x gain, adjustable via input attenuators. At 12 o'clock, the signal passes through at unity; fully clockwise gives you double the input level.
Signal Routing & Inversion:
Every matrix point includes a 3-way toggle switch, allowing you to send the signal to an output as On, Off, or Inverted. This gives you precise control over summing, phase manipulation, and creative routing.
Master Controls on Outputs:
Each of the 8 outputs includes its own dedicated level control and a cut switch, offering both fine-tuned mix control and immediate signal muting.
Bonus Utility: Format Jumbler Multipliers
Two passive format jumblers are included (1/8” to dual 1/4”), handy for bridging between formats or expanding your patching options.

Enclosure: Rugged 12” x 12” x 3” aluminum boat.
Power: Runs on a 9–15V DC wall wart (power supply included).

This is a pre-order item. PCBs are currently in production and modules will be assembled as soon as parts arrive. Due to small-batch manufacturing, build time is typically 2–3 weeks, depending on global part availability.

You can choose between Davies 1900H (small) or Davies 1910 (large) style knobs for your unit.
