Dual Low-Pass Gate + Pre-Amp + Mixer
Inspired by the iconic input/output section of the 208 Music Easel, this versatile module combines two independent 5C3/2 based vactrol low-pass gates with advanced control features. Each gate includes CV input attenuation, offset adjustment, and selectable modes—LPG, Both, or VCA—allowing for flexible signal shaping. Outputs are available individually via dedicated banana jacks, while both signals are also mixed together and routed to a convenient 3.5mm (1/8") output jack.
The module’s top section features a built-in pre-amplifier designed to elevate low-level sources—such as piezo pickups—to modular line levels. With a fixed gain range from 5x to 30x, the pre-amp ensures your delicate signals are cleanly boosted and available through a banana output for seamless integration into your setup.

** 4U Modular is a term used for the format most commonly known as “Serge Format” or “Loudest Warning Format”. Out of respect for the ever growing format, 4U Modular is the easiest way to refer to it. More Specifically it refers to the panel height and mounting hole style. 4U Modular will patch up just fine with other 4U "Serge" formats such as "Random Source", but it will not mount in RS boats or Buchla Boats (or power off Buchla power for that matter). An info page about this will be added to the website soon to make this a lot more easy to understand.
